Team Balfour! Yearbook staffs jammed the expansive Balfour/Taylor booth area during the opening hours of the NSPA/JEA convention in Kansas City. Balfour kicked off a three-day photo scavenger hunt in which schools competed for $10,000 in prizes (iPads, cameras, pizza parties). Everyone grabbed some yearbook-specific "tatoos," Kansas City pennants in their school colors and sugar-central candy. While Marcia handed out Swag Bags to take home the loot, she walked the incredulous staffers through the Fantasy Cover display which resulted in WOW after OMG! Despite the pouring rain (the first KC has had in over two months) school and yearbook spirits were hardly dampened as yearbook-type people sat with Marilyn Scoggins, Mike Taylor and Judi Coolidge to review their 2010 books and sharpen up their 2011 designs.
